Case Victoria has recently expanded its coverage of the greater Melbourne area by opening a second dealership in Truganina to support West-Melbourne customers.

Case Victoria Dealer Principal, Vince King, believes the addition will not only provide current customers access to parts & service from a convenient location, but also enable the dealership group to support a new geographical market – something that hasn’t previously been possible.

“We’ve always had a lot of demand in the Western region but were limited by our East Dandenong location,” said Vince.

“There’s a clear geographical divide between East & West, and it has been logistically difficult to service both from one location.”

“With all of the infrastructure projects in the growth corridors of North and West Melbourne, Truganina serves as a perfect base.”

“We’re now confident we can support development in both areas.”

The new facility sits at 455 Boundary Road, Truganina, and officially opened its doors in May earlier this year.

The 11,000 square metre lot includes comprehensive construction sales, service and parts departments along with equipment rentals. It also houses a national parts distribution centre for Case Construction parts for the Australian dealer network.

Case Victoria was acquired by the McIntosh Group, an Australian machinery dealership group, early May 2021, as part of a transaction that saw the Group take on National distribution for Case Construction equipment.

“Opening a branch in the West has been promised for a few years, so customer feedback has been very positive now that it has been made possible,” said Vince.

The second dealership also means an expansion of the mobile service team and direct factory access to genuine parts.

“Sharing a premise with Case CE and their national parts distribution is a big win, there are natural efficiencies that come with a relationship like ours, and customers are already reaping the benefits.”

The expansion comes at a time where the market has seen a spike in demand for new and used construction equipment, and Vince believes that having a strong Case CE presence in both Truganina and Dandenong will help continue to cement the brand as an industry leader.

“If we can continue to offer a high level of service and parts support in well-presented facilities, we can allow our team to provide the best-in-class sales advice and rental hire that our customers have come to expect,” said Vince.

The original dealership at 117 Frankston – Dandenong Rd, Dandenong, which has been operating since 2000, will continue to support their customers based in the East of Melbourne.

Vince has his eyes set on the heavy excavator market and believes the Case CE range offers operators a reliable solution.

“Having multiple locations and expanded coverage is essential to being able to provide the level of support that the heavy excavator market requires, so we’re excited to start kicking goals in this segment.”

The future is looking bright for Vince and the Case Victoria team.
